About this course

Most performance problems are fixed with a quick, specific word on the floor. This course is for the gap that keeps coming back: the same step missed again, the same complaint from the next shift. It teaches frontline supervisors and team leads in EVS, transport, linen, food and nutrition, and facilities one repeatable method, the Coaching Loop: Gap, Cause, Talk, Plan, Check.

You will learn to name a gap so plainly it cannot be misunderstood, check the cause in order (Know, Able, Clear, Choosing), handle attendance, health, personal and union situations the right way, hold a short private conversation, write a five-part plan someone can follow, and decide on the check date whether to recognize, adjust or escalate.

It is the next step after From Frontline Employee to Team Lead. It is general training, not legal advice; your organization's policies and HR team decide how the rules apply.
