About Course

One of 30 ITC Continuing Education modules. See every module, the CE Access passes and how hours reach your record.

Transport as a strategic flow partner, using Flow Physics and the Support Services Chain.

Carries 2 CE hours toward CHTI and CPTMP renewal, as domain content. Hours post when you pass the end-of-module assessment.

One self-paced module with worked scenarios, the tools it refers to, and an applied activity at the end. Then a 15-question assessment drawn at random from a 30-question bank: pass with 11 of 15 correct. You get three attempts, each retake shows a different set, and every answer comes with an explanation.

See every module, the CE rules and how hours reach your record on the Continuing Education page.

What Will You Learn?

  • Place transport inside the Support Services Chain and explain the multiplier effect of a transport delay.
  • Use Little’s Law and the hourly demand curve to explain why a queue forms in a department that is adequately staffed on average.
  • Measure the Stagnation Gap and attribute each delay category to the system that owns it.
  • Build Activation Windows from the demand curve rather than from the complaint log.
  • Present a throughput case to executive leadership with a defensible financial frame and no unsourced numbers.
